what is cyber essentials certification?
Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme that assists organisation, whatever their size, to protect themselves against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks. Gaining Cyber Essentials Certification is reassurance that a business is guarding themselves against cyber threats and demonstrates their commitment to cyber security.
There are a variety of steps that organisations must undertake to gain this accreditation which is backed by the UK government and overseen by the National Cyber Security Centre. Annual reviews are carried out to check compliance before allowing a certified businesses to renew their certification.
